Sean Lanterman, Esq.
Sean Lanterman is the company's General Counsel and its Director of Incident Response. Sean has participated in over 1,000 cases involving digital evidence, including high-profile civil and criminal litigation and data breaches.
While employed at CFS, Sean has regularly conducted information security audits. He has previously spoken on cyber security and incident response for a variety of audiences.
Sean is an Investigator for the Hennepin County 4th District Ethics Committee. Sean is also a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner through the SANS Institute and a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) through the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics. Sean is a member of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS), the Association of
Certified Fraud Examiners, and InfraGard (an intelligence partnership between the FBI and the private sector).
Sean holds his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota, where he graduated magna cum laude. Sean received his Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas and is a licensed attorney.
